Exeter, NH — Inez M. Daneau, 75, of Exeter, formerly of Amesbury, Mass., died Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Exeter Hospital.
She was born May 10, 1937 in West Newbury, Mass., a daughter of the late J. Henry and Hallie (Hardy) Morrill.
Mrs. Daneau graduated from Newburyport High School in 1955 and later settled in Amesbury to raise her family where she lived until 1982. With her husband, Roland, they retired to Punta Gorda, Fla. She made her home with her daughter and her family in Exeter for the last nine years and always looked forward to her Morrill Sisters get together every Tuesday night.
While residing in Punta Gorda she was a communicant of San Antonio Church and member of the Elks and Moose Clubs, all in Port Charlotte, Fla. She was also a member of the National Quilt Guild; she participated in making quilts for children with AIDS. She was an avid shopper and always enjoyed any opportunity to shop.
She shared 42 years of marriage with her late husband, Roland A. Daneau, who predeceased her in 1997.
Family members include three children, Brian Daneau and his wife Deanne of Haverhill, Mass.; Cynthia A. D’Andreti and husband Lino, with whom she resided in Exeter; Jeffrey Daneau of Maine; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Myrtle Dorgan of Newburyport, Mass., Zella Haskell of West Newbury, Mass., Vona Jutras of Amesbury, Mass., Carlene Frost of Ossippee, NH; many nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: There will be no visiting hours. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10 A.M., Saturday, January 5, 2013 in St. Joseph Church of Holy Family Parish, corner of School and Sparhawk Streets, Amesbury, Mass.
