Salisbury — Sandra J. Franklin, of Salisbury, passed away last Friday at her home. The daughter of the late Wilfred O. and Hazel (Chapman) Gross, she was born in Veazie, Maine.
She was educated in Maine before coming to the Salisbury area. She had been proprietor of Sandy's Coffee Shop for many years until she became ill. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her dear friend and former husband, Paul J. Franklin Sr. of Salisbury; her two sons and their wives, Paul J. Franklin Jr. and wife, Marge and Robert Franklin and wife, Terri both of Seabrook, N.H.; five grandchildren, Janet Marie and Katielynne Franklin of Seabrook, N.H., Matthew Page of Amesbury, and Gage and Kadynce Franklin of Seabrook, N.H.; four great-grandchildren, Khloe, Cheyenne, RoryJames, and Faith; two brothers, Timothy and S. Michael Gross both of Veazie, Maine; one sister, Judith Stevens and husband, Robert of South Carolina, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother-in-law Agnes Franklin, and her late siblings, Robert Jenkins, Richard Gross, and Eleanor Hutt.
ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial service for Sandra will be held this Saturday January 5 at 1:30 p.m. at the E.V. Jutras & Sons Funeral Home, 118 Friend St., in Amesbury. In lieu of flowers, a fund has been set up for the family and may be sent c/o Robert Franklin 92 Walton Rd. Seabrook, NH. 03974
