John Taylor, 65

Plaistow, N.H. — John Charles Taylor was born in Salem, MA, to the late John P. Taylor and Norma M. (Carter) Taylor. John was raised in Beverly and graduated from Newburyport High School in 1966.

He worked at Ferry Beach in Saco, Maine, where he met and fell in love with his wife, Linda (Glazier). He then served in the U.S. Air Force from 1966 to 1970. While stationed in Mill Valley, Calif., he married Linda and they had their first daughter, Kristin. The family then moved to Rowley, where he resided for 30 years, working at Honeywell Corp., until his illness.

He is survived by his mother, Norma Taylor of West Melbourne, Fla.; wife, Linda (Glazier) Taylor of Plaistow, N.H.; daughter, Kristin Taylor of West Roxbury; daughter, Jennifer (Taylor) Michaud and husband, Kevin of Portland, Maine; son, Joshua Taylor of Bradford; brother, James Taylor; and good friend, Frank Linares of Lynn. He leaves behind fond memories with all that knew him.

ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial service will be held at a later date. A member of the Haverhill High School Class of 1941, she attended the Fasio Beauty School and was a beautician in the Haverhill area for over 40 years. Her most recent employment was with her dear friend, Mary Pauline Wyka at Andrea’s Beauty Salon in Plaistow.

Sonya leaves behind aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, and many friends.

Buzzell Sr. of Merrimac, Mass.; two sisters, Adrienne Beaulieu and Helena Worthen, both of Amesbury, Mass.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lorenzo and Wilfred Gagne, and one sister, Therese Garneau.

He attended Lowell Technical School for a year before joining the General Electric Co., Lynn as a Planner for 47 years prior to his retirement 4 years ago.
