Newburyport — Carolyn Teeson Keller, beloved wife, mother, and friend,
was born in Lowell on October 28, 1927 to Marion and Ercell Teeson of Southbridge. She is predeceased by her brother, Forrest Teeson of Brattleboro, Vt.
She attended the Bancroft School in Worcester, Abbott Academy in Andover, and Syracuse University where she graduated with a BS in fiber arts. She was a superb weaver, knitter, and tailor. She also enjoyed reading, music, cross country skiing, and choral singing.
Carolyn was married to Ross S. Keller for 60 years. She was a loving mother to her children and an occasional cat. She was fun loving and sometimes mischievous. And even in her last few years of compromised health, she brought a sweet happiness to all those she met.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Ross of Newburyort; daughter, Meredith Keller and her husband, Peter Holloran of Rochester, N.Y., daughter, Susan Keller and her husband, Hugh Kelleher of Newburyport; and son, Gordon Keller and wife Genevieve of Whitefield, Maine. She leaves five grandsons, Ross and Carl Keller, Carter and Taylor Holloran, and Cameron Kelleher. She also leaves behind many dear friends and several very special people who helped take care of her including Mary Willingham, Connie Arets, Pretrea Cressey, and Tracy Britton. Thank you for loving her too.
