Amesbury, MA — Dennis Louis Kardos, age 61, of Amesbury, died Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, with his family by his side.
Born in Newark, New Jersey, March 3, 1951, he was the son of the late Stephen and Eleanor (Jaques) Kardos and was a graduate of Andover High School.
Mr. Kardos had worked many years as a machine operator at PDF Manufacturing in Haverhill.
His passion in life was spending time with his family and dear friends, especially his only grandchild, Sawyer Kardos, who filled his heart with much joy. He was a kind, loving father, and an absolutely devoted grandfather. Dennis was also a train enthusiast, a hobby that has been dear to his heart throughout his life.
His loving family includes his son, Hank Kardos and wife Nicole of Haverhill; his daughter, Lydia Kardos; his adoring grandson, Sawyer, and many dear friends. He will be truly missed by them all.
ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial mass will be held Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 11 A.M. at St. Joseph Church of the Holy Family Parish, 2 School Street, Amesbury, with an hour of visitation from 10 to 11 A.M. at the Church, immediately prior to the services. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Amesbury. Arrangements are by Paul C. Rogers & SonsFamily Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury.
