Newburyport, MA — Marlene I. Barber of Plum Island, Mass., passed away Saturday at her home of 40 years. Marlene loved the beach, and her children.
She leaves behind her husband Timothy Barber Sr.; her sons, John, Timothy Jr., Michael, Patrick, and Megan. She won the Governors Cup for a prize-winning salmon caught off the shores of Plum Island. She had a wonderful sense of humor and will be dearly missed by her family. She is survived by her sisters, Ellen Maher and Paula Sullivan of Worcester; as well as grandchildren, Kyle Crisci, Kurtis Crisci, Katelynn Crisci, and Aidan Barber.
ARRANGEMENTS: The family will have a celebration of life service at the Plum Island Tax Payers Hall (P.I.T.A.) on Plum Island, on Thursday, May 15, from 3 to 7 p.m. All friends and neighbors are welcome to attend.
