ROWLEY, MA — John "Jack" Emerzian of Rowley, Mass., formerly of Danvers and Lynn, passed away on Monday, May 12, from a serious illness.
Jack was born in 1954 to the late John and Erdine (Betty) Emerzian. Jack is survived by his loving wife, Cindy; and two cherished sons, Douglas and Matthew; his siblings, Holly Serevitch, Peter Emerzian,Steven Emerzian, and Wendy Martins; and also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was a graduate of Danvers High School, Class of 1972, and Northern Essex Community College in 1974. He had a passion for sports and possessed a competitive good natured spirit. He played baseball, softball, enjoyed golf, and gardening.
Jack proudly co-owned and operated John's Market in Rowley with his Dad, John A. Emerzian, until its closing in 1994.
Jack had a deep and steadfast love for his family, was always kind and generous, loyal, loving, and supportive.
ARRANGEMENTS: A period of visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the F.S. Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 14 Independent Street, Rowley. A funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m., on Friday, May 16, in St. Mary's Church, Main Street, Rowley. Burial will follow in St. Mary's of the Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers.
