Rowley, MA — Wendy Kaplan-Frost, 60, of Rowley, died peacefully at her home after a valiant struggle with breast cancer. She was surrounded by her husband and daughters, whom she loved and cherished. Her strong will to live, positive outlook on life, and the love and prayers of family, friends, and many supporters carried her through her battle.
Born in Lynn, Mass., Sept. 13, 1953, she was one of three children of the late Robert and Pearl (Feldman) Kaplan.
Her perky demeanor and warm, humble spirit inspired and gave hope to all. She lit up every room she walked into with her ready smile and contagious laugh. She was truly a kind-hearted individual who cared unconditionally for others and looked out for everyone, especially her husband and her daughters – Wendy was the light of their lives. Wendy loved running, being outdoors, laughing and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her husband and best friend, Randy Frost of Rowley, she is survived by her two daughters, Robin and Stacey Allaire; three stepchildren, Matthew, Alexander and Meghan Frost; her two brothers, Gerald and Arnold Kaplan, along with nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many dear friends. She will truly be missed by them all.
Although Wendy’s parting has left much sorrow, her life leaves a positive imprint on those whom she touched. The memories of her remain close to our hearts and will never fade. The world is a better place because of her.
