Seabrook, NH — Rita Davis, 84, of Seabrook, died Monday, June 9, 2014, at Merrimack Valley Health Center in Amesbury, Mass.
She was born in Amesbury on January 11, 1930, and was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Florida (Hamel) Pelletier.
A homemaker, Mrs. Davis had esided in Seabrook since 1956, coming from Amesbury. She enjoyed crocheting, bingo and playing cards.
She was the wife of the late William O. Davis, who died in 2006.
Family members include her son, William Davis of Billerica, Mass.; two daughters, Bette Ann Davis of Pittsfield, and Diana K. Tuttle and husband, Gary, of Seabrook; three grandchildren, James Tuttle, Melisa Moore and Michael Moore; four brothers, Wallace Pelletier and wife, Paula, Dennis Pelletier and wife, Gay, Alphonse Pelletier, and Roland Pelletier and wife, Nancy; three sisters, Simone Bashaw and husband, Tom, Evelyn Ploude and family, and Florence Chabo and husband, Bob; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was also predeceased by her son, Phillip Davis; her brother, Wilfred Pelletier Jr.; sister, Beatrice Tetreault; and three sisters-in-law, Jackie and Louise Pelletier and Kathrine Dow.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, June 12, at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 13, in the funeral home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Interment will be private.
