Real A. Angers, 91


BEVERLY — Real A. Angers, 91, husband of the late Alice (Byron) Angers, died peacefully at Beverly Hospital on Tuesday, July 27, 2010.

Born in Canada, he is son of the late Paul and Alma (Esperanse) Angers.

Real grew up in Beverly. He is a United States Navy Veteran, having served in the Pacific during World War II from 1942 to 1946. Real is a life long member of the Elks Club, Franco American Club and the American Legion all of Beverly. He enjoyed dancing, music, and especially his family.

He is survived by two step-sons, Chester Monroe Rogers Jr. and his wife Mary Ann of Danvers, and Donald Rogers and his wife Carol of Newburyport; one step-daughter, Joanne Tierney of Ocala, Fla.; one sister, Ada Dean and her husband Eddie of Beverly; nephews, Eddie Dean and Jimmy Dean, both of Beverly; along with many other nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Mary's Star of the Sea Church, Cabot Street, Beverly on Saturday at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be in Central Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at the Campbell-Lee, Moody Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., Beverly (North Beverly location) on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Information, directions, condolences at www.campbellfuneral.com.
