Newburyport — Frank D. Marshall, 61, of Newburyport, died suddenly Thursday, November 8, 2012 at his home.
He was born October 8, 1951 in Newburyport a son of the late Everett H. and Deltina (Heywood) Marshall, Sr.
Mr. Marshall was a lifelong resident of Newburyport and a graduate of Newburyport High School with the Class of 1970. He worked as a machinist for Rivco in Newburyport, Roflan Company in Topsfield, and Berkshire Manufactured Products also in Newburyport for a number of years and currently worked at JF Mullen in Merrimac.
Frank was a hardworking man who enjoyed fishing, spending time at the North End Boat Club in Newburyport and showing off his many tattoos. He was even featured in a few tattoo magazines. Most of all though Frank devoted his life to keeping the memory of his late son F. Joshua Marshall alive who died in 1992.
Family members include his son, F. Jefferey Marshall of Elliot, Maine; brothers, Keith R. Marshall and his wife Vicki of Amesbury, Kevin D. Marshall, Sr. and his wife Elizabeth of Exeter, N.H. and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his son F. Joshua, Frank was also predeceased by his brother Everett H. Marshall, Jr.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14, in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home – Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 16, in the funeral home. Burial will follow at the First Parish Cemetery, York, Maine. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
