Salisbury, MA — Memorial services have been scheduled for David Winslow Hume, age 76, longtime Salisbury resident, who passed away peacefully Saturday evening, January 18, 2014, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Grace A. Hume, with whom he had shared 44 years filled with unforgettable memories.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Grace of Salisbury; his two daughters, Candice O. Short and husband, Albert G., of Salisbury and Georgia M. Manovich and husband, David, of NC; four grandchildren, Bobby, Jason, Monice and AnnMarie; his five great-grandchildren, Cory, David, Sarah R., Sarah A. and Brian; along with his sister, Alice Foley of NH; and several nieces, nephews and dear friends. David was predeceased by his daughter, Kimberly Hume Mauriello of Salisbury, who passed away October 31, 2005.
ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at noon at the East Parish United Methodist Church, Lafayette Road, Salisbury followed by a Celebration of Life gathering at Lena’s Seafood. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, 360 North Ave., Haverhill, MA 01830 as an expression of gratitude for the compassionate care they provided.
