Peabody, MA — Dwayne W. Welch, 73, of Peabody, died May 29 in Danvers. Born in Holden, Maine on December 9, 1939, the son of the late Max and Marion (Carmichael) Welch. Mr. Welch was raised in Topsfield and a graduate of Topsfield High School where he was captain of the football team. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a retired Master Craftsman from Osram Sylvania of Danvers. Mr. Welch was also an avid golfer.
He is survived by his beloved wife Bruna (Berardinangelo). He was the loving father of Julie Webster and husband, Christopher, of Merrimac, Michael Welch of Newburyport, Karen Welch and husband, Paul, of Washington, and Kimberly Burke and husband, Tom, of New Hampshire. He was the brother of Paul and Mark Welch and the late Dallan Welch. His is also survived by his 9 grandchildren.
ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield, on Monday at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.
