Seabrook, NH — William D. “Bill” Young, 51, of Seabrook, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Anna Jaques Hospital, Newburyport, Mass.
He was born in Newburyport, on February 3, 1962.
Bill worked at the Frolics Arcade in Salisbury Beach, Mass., for Buddy and Ralph Mulcahy for many years until 1984, when he began his 16-year career with the Roofers Union Local 33 with longtime friend, Rick Frascone. In 2000, Rick and Bill started their own business, Superior Roofing, where they have worked side by side for the last 13 years.
Bill had many lifelong friends and was always willing to do anything to help them or his family. He was genuinely liked by everyone that met him. He enjoyed NASCAR, golfing, fishing, and making people laugh.
Family members include his mother, Sandra (Janvrin) Carey and her husband, Paul; daughter, Samantha Young; two brothers, Robert Young Jr. and his wife, Karen, and their two children, Richard Fleming and his son; and longtime companion, Susan Sylvester, and her two children, Mike and Mandy.
He was predeceased by his father, Robert Young Sr.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m., on Friday, August 2, in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton.
