Anita (Davis) Mansur, 63, of Byfield died March 30, 2012. She was born in Newburyport August 28, 1948, the daughter of the late Gilbert Sr. and Rhoda (Woodman) Davis. Anita was a very proud and active member of the Byfield Community United Methodist Church, where she was a lay minister, ran the food pantry and was a Sunday school teacher.
Predeceased by her husband Richard M. Mansur, she is survived by her sons, Peter Mansur of Methuen and Chris Mansur and his wife Karen of Byfield. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Matthew, Mariah, Jacob and Chelsea, as well as siblings, Gilbert Davis Jr of Amesbury, Everett Davis of Byfield, Fred Davis of Byfield, The Reverend Rusty Davis of Salisbury, Richard Davis of Byfield, Rita West of Byfield, and Orin Davis of Rochester N.H., and many nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral service will be on Friday at 10 a.m. at the Byfield Community United Methodist Church with a burial in South Byfield Cemetery to follow. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Merton E. Roberts Jr and Conte Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown, MA. 01833.
