Seabrook, NH — Howard P. Eaton, Sr., 77, a lifelong resident of Seabrook, died Sunday, November 24, 2013, surrounded by his loving family at Clipper Harbor, Portsmouth.
He was born in Seabrook, December 13, 1935, a son of the late Herman and Annie (Drouin) Eaton.
Howard worked as a mechanic for Applecrest Farms in Hampton Falls for over 40 years. He enjoyed lobstering as a side job and also liked working on cars, fishing, clamming, eeling, trapping and hunting. He was a member of the Sons of the Raymond E. Walton American Legion Post 70 of Seabrook.
Family members include his daughters, Bobbi Jo Welch and her husband, Ronald, of Seabrook and Amy Brown and her husband, Charles, of Huntington, VT; his sons, Howard P. Eaton, Jr. and his wife, Robin, of Seabrook and Joseph W. Eaton, also of Seabrook; his brother, Robert Eaton and his wife, Louis of Salisbury, MA and sisters, Barbra Bickford and Mary A. Fowler of Seabrook; his grandchildren, Chad and Ronald Welch III, Chelsea Ahearn, Shawn and Brianna Eaton, Mariah Prescott, Sarah Clark, Jake Fowler and Phoebe and Zander Levine and 7 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Howard was predeceased by his brothers, Everett Eaton, Lindy Eaton, William Eaton, Herman Eaton, and Michael Eaton and his sisters, Mini Young and Pearline Welch.
ARRANGEMENTS: Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2013, in Wildwood Cemetery, Seabrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
