Hampton, NH — Merle Richard “Rick” Wibur, IV, age 32, of Hampton, New Hampshire, died Christmas Eve, December 24, 2012 at Lawrence General Hospital as a result of massive injuries sustained after a tree accident. He is now reunited with his grandparents, Merle R. Wilbur, Jr. and Pearl A. Hartt-Wilbur and his cousin, April M. Wilbur, celebrating his First Christmas in Heaven with them.
Born in Exeter, New Hampshire, August 22, 1980, he was the son of Merle R. Wilbur, III of Hampton, NH, he had attended Exeter High School and was a graduate of Dover High School, after which he attended Florida State University.
A hard-working young man, Rick, who was a tree service specialist, ran his own business, Oaklands Tree Service of Hampton, NH for the past seven years.
He loved his family, and was especially fond of his cousins, who were like brothers and sisters to him.
He leaves behind his loving family, who are totally grief-stricken at his unexpected passing, father, Merle “Ric” Wilbur, III of Hampton, NH; uncle, Randy L. Wilbur and wife Margaret of Rochester, NH; aunt, Bonnie Jean Wilbur and husband Paul Wann of Newfields, NH and Byfield, MA; and his cousins, Joseph E. Wilbur and wife, Lisa, and their children, Joseph, Jr., Kiara and Elizabeth of Ossipee, NH; Randy Wilbur of Newfields., NH; and Belle Struck of Byfield.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours at the Highland Chapel of Paul C. Rogers & Sons Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013 from 1 to 4 P.M. immediately followed by services at the funeral home at 4 P.M.
