West Newbury — Michael “Mickey” H. Flinn, age 65, of West Newbury, died Monday, February 4, 2013 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Susie (Norris) Flinn.
Born in Sidney, Ohio, August 25, 1947, he was the son of the late Hudson and Lucille (Hemmert) Flinn. Mickey received a Master's in Finance from the University of Dayton and worked as a branch manager for Crown Equipment Corporation based in New Bremen, Ohio. Mickey also proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1968-1974.
In addition to his wife of 44 years, Susie, he is survived by three beloved children, Kellie Hochheiser and husband, David, Sean Michael Flinn and wife, Kirstin and Holly Flinn; three grandchildren, Grady Michael Flinn and Avery and Declan Hochheiser; two brothers and a sister, Patrick Flinn, Timm Flinn and Julie Flinn; five nieces and three nephews, and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute or Veterans Northeast Outreach Center at 65 Cedar Street, Haverhill, MA 01830 or northeastveterans.org.
ARRANGEMENTS: A celebration of life gathering will be held Saturday, February 9, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Dalton Club, 95 State St., Newburyport.
