Salisbury, MA — Leo A. Moore III, 69, of Salisbury, died at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, on Monday, August 5, 2013, with his family by his side.
Born July 4, 1944, in Winooski, Vt., Leo was the son of the late Leo A. Moore II and Grace (Brown) Moore. He was a graduate of St. John’s High School in Washington, D.C., and had attended the University of Maryland.
Leo was a veteran of the Vietnam Era, proudly serving with the U.S. Army.
For many years, he worked as a salesman at Roberts Electric in Salisbury.
An avid golfer and skier, Leo was also an avid football fan. He enjoyed watching all the football games on TV, and held seasons tickets for the Boston College Football games.
In addition to his beloved wife, Bonnie Lee (Roberts) Moore of Salisbury, he is survived by his mother-in-law, Catherine Roberts; two sisters-in-law, Alice Currier and Carlene Mercer; two brothers-in-law, Donald Roberts and James Mercer; two uncles, Paul Moore and wife, Shirley, and Richard Moore; along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Memorial Service for relatives and friends will be held on Thursday, August 8, at 11 a.m., at Elliott, Woodworth & Rogers Family Funeral Home, 35 Green Street, Newburyport. Private interment will take place at Belleville Cemetery. The family requests that flowers kindly be omitted, instead, donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701, or to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
