Byfield, MA — George W. Baletsa, Jr., age 45, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, while vacationing with his family and friends on a Florida beach. George’s last days were spent doing what he loved most - entertaining family and friends and playing with his children on the beach. Born in Saugus on July 16, 1968, George will be forever remembered by his wife, Linda; his children, Adam, Brandon and Chase, his mother, Judy (Mahan-Baletsa) Oliva; his sister, Christina (Baletsa) Roffman and nephew Bailey Roffman. He was the son of the late George Baletsa. George cherished his time with his children, family and friends. George will be forever remembered by his numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family and dear friends. George was a graduate of Northeastern University, receiving his B.S. in Business Management in June 1995 and his Executive M.B.A. in June 2000.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visitation hours will be on Monday, June 30, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Twomey, LeBlanc and Conte Funeral Home, 193 High St., (Route 113), Newburyport.
A service will be held on Tuesday, July 1, at 10 a.m., at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 7 Harris St., Newburyport. Brunch will immediately follow.
The family is requesting that flowers be omitted and donations in George's memory be made to LIFO Missions Group, Inc., 3520 Vista Court, Miami, FL 33133.
