Linda (Parnell) Cilluffo, 68

Hampton, NH — Linda Beth (Parnell) Cilluffo, 68, of Hampton, died Monday, July 15, 2013, at her home with her husband by her side, after fighting pancreatic cancer for 17 months.

Linda was born in Gloucester, Mass., October 6, 1944, a daughter of the late Robert and Rebecca (Gray) Parnell.

She graduated from Gloucester High School with the Class of 1962 and the University of New Hampshire in 1966. She taught Spanish and History at Newburyport High School, Newburyport, Mass., and after raising her family, served as a substitute teacher for many years. She later helped her husband in establishing his business, C & D Valve and Instrument in Seabrook.

While residing in Newburyport, she was co-president for four years of the Newburyport branch of the American Association of University Women and co-chaired many of their book authored luncheons. After moving to Hampton she joined a bridge group and took up golf joining the Ould Newbury Golf Club, Newbury, Mass., where she served as secretary and vice president of the Ladies League; was head chair of the Lady Bug League; and secretary of the Board of Governors.

Besides golf and bridge, she loved to travel and gamble, enjoying her home in Las Vegas, Nev., as often as possible.

She shared 47 ½ years of marriage with her husband, Salvatore Cilluffo of Hampton.

In addition to her husband, family members include her son, Christopher M. Cilluffo and his wife, Jodi, of Sunland, Calif.; her daughter, Dawna J. Cilluffo, Esq. and her husband, Franco Anzini, of San Jose, Calif.; her granddaughter, Giada Anzini; her aunt, Jean MacLean of Gloucester; her nephew, Michael Stutz and his wife, Brenda, of Exeter and her beloved friends.

She was predeceased by her sister, Donna L. Myers.

ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2013, at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Services will immediately follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
