Virginia Paugh, 73

Seabrook Beach, NH — Virginia N. Paugh, 73, of Seabrook Beach, died suddenly on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Exeter Hospital with loving family by her side.

Virginia was born November 30, 1939 in Fitchburg, Mass., the daughter of the late Michael F. and Teresa (Pancare) Marrone.

She was raised in Fitchburg and graduated from Fitchburg High with the Class of 1958. After school she married and settled in Leominster, Mass., to raise her family. Virginia and her family had summered at Seabrook Beach for many years and moved there permanently several years ago. She was a shrewd businesswoman, in addition to assisting her children getting started in business, she had owned and operated the Kon Tiki Lounge in Salisbury, Mass., and RumRunners Entertainment Complex in Key West, Fla. Virginia’s family was always the most important part of her life and spending time with them made her very happy. Her home was always open to her children’s friends when it was time for dinner, especially Sunday dinner. She always had enough sauce and meatballs for whomever would be there. Virginia was very strong when it came to Italian family traditions and values, found humor in almost everything, and if something went wrong, her everlasting words would be “It is what it is.”

She is survived by her children, Ronald E. Paugh, Michael L. Paugh and his fiancée, Alexandra Daly, and Teresa Quinn and her husband, Robert, all of Seabrook Beach; her grandchildren, Nicole Quinn, Noelle Quinn and Rorri Virginia Paugh; her brother, Michael J. Marrone and his longtime companion, Elizabeth Jankowski, of Fitchburg; her sister-in-law, Nancy Marrone of Hampton and Florida; her nephews, Dante Marrone of Key West, Nico Marrone of Delray Beach, Fla., Enzo and Giovanni Marrone; her great-nephew, Anthony Marrone and his mom, Stephanie Rigdon, all of Fitchburg; her aunts, uncles and many cousins.
