Seabrook, NH — Leona C. Felch, 82, of Seabrook, died Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at Maplewood Center in Amesbury, Mass.
She was born in Newburyport, Mass., June 30, 1931, a daughter of the late George and Blanche (Rogers) Belanger.
She graduated from Newburyport High School with the Class of 1949 and attended Essex Agricultural School studying floral arranging. She was a longtime employee of the Bailey Corporation as a line worker in shoe manufacturing.
She was lifelong member of the Raymond E. Walton American Post, Ladies Auxiliary Unit 70.
She was the wife of the late Charles Henry Felch who predeceased her in 1998.
She leaves five children, Charles H. Felch, Jr. and wife, Victoria, Allen Felch and wife, Cathy, Donald Felch and wife, Sophie, Brian F. Rios, all of Seabrook, Cathy Felch and partner, Sheila, of Colebrook and Weirsdale, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; her brother, Alger Belanger and wife, Shirley, of Seabrook; her sister, Albertine Garfi of Michigan; her special friend and caregiver, Kim Blanchard of Seabrook; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Felipe “Phil” Rios on February 3, 2012.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, July 26, 2013, at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton.
