Salisbury — Deborah E. Berry, age 53, died unexpectedly on Monday, November 19, 2012 at the Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport.
Born in Beverly, March 26, 1959, she was one of six children of Faith Richard of Underhill, Vt. and the late Frederick W. Berry, Sr.
Deborah graduated from Whittier Regional Vo-Tech, worked at several places in the Salisbury and Amesbury area, and most recently was a cashier at the Sunoco Gas Station on Route 110 in Salisbury.
She enjoyed spending time at home with family, especially with her granddaughter, Sophia, who was her greatest joy and love.
In addition to her mother, stepfather (Peter Richard of Underhill, VT) and granddaughter, she is survived by her son, Michel Emond, Jr. and his fiancee, Alaina of Amesbury; her four brothers, Frederick Berry, Jr., and wife, Loretta of Chula Vista, Calif., Kevin Berry of Salisbury, Christopher Berry and wife, Kristin of Exeter, N.H. and Michael Berry and wife, Sasha of Ipswich; her sister, Lisa Poulin and husband, David of Exeter, N.H.; her son’s grandmother, Jeannine Emond of Amesbury; Deborah’s special friend, Bruce Chapman of Haverhill, along with numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends, all of whom are truly devastated by her unexpected death. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Debra Berry and her stepmother, Charlotte Berry.
Gone is her warm smile, her gentle touch and her acts of kindness, but her spirit will forever fill the hearts of those she loved so dearly.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours at the Highland Chapel of Paul C. Rogers & Sons Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, will be Saturday, November 24, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. immediately followed by funeral services at the funeral home at 12 p.m. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford will be private for the family. Kindly omit flowers, instead, donations in her memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
