Sandra C. (Harper) Spinney, 66

Amesbury — Sandra C. (Harper) Spinney, age 66, of Amesbury, died peacefully at her home on Saturday afternoon, December 8, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lynn, on October 4, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Phyllis Harper and had attended Lynn schools. Sandra was a manager at the Richdale in Salisbury.

Sandra loved being a mother, she considered it her “hobby.” Raising nine children was not easy, but she was always there to take care of their needs, ease their worries, and give them the love and understanding they

needed. She was also a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother.

Her loving family includes her nine children, Robert Landry and significant other, Christina Balser of Seabrook, N.H., Dawn DesRoches of Hampton, N.H., Tabitha Ralston of Salisbury, Heidi MacIsaac of Wilton, Maine, Katie Cox and husband, Mike of Rochester, N.H., Stephen, James and Barrie Spinney, Sean St. Cyr and Donald Spinney, all of Amesbury; twenty-one grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and her brother, Gilman Nunes

of Niceville, Fla. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Gladys Harper; her uncle, Bernie; daughter, April Landry and grandson, Jason Landry.

ARRANGEMENTS: At Sandra's request everyone is invited to dress casually for visiting hours on Saturday, December 15, 2012 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the East Parish United Methodist Church, Lafayette Road, Salisbury, and a funeral service immediately following at 11 a.m. and burial in Union Cemetery, Amesbury.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Sandra Spinney can be made to Newburyport Five Cents Savings
