Haverhill — Dorothy (Kelly) Frost, 90, of Haverhill, passed away Monday, May 26 at the Wingate at Haverhill Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Residence.
She was born in Jersey City, N.J. Aug. 12, 1923, daughter of the late William M. and Florence (Casselman) Kelly.
Mrs. Frost was educated in New Jersey schools and graduated from Abraham Clark High School with the class of 1941. She was employed as a Production Service Clerk at the former Lucent Technologies for 25 years until her retirement in 1988.
She enjoyed boating, bowling and playing pool at Phoenix Row and volunteered at Joyful Ladle for 18 years at Trinity Episcopal Church where she was a member. Mrs. Frost was a past member of the Haverhill Women’s Club, Pioneers of America and the local 1365 Union of Office Workers.
Mrs. Frost was predeceased by her son, Jeffrey O. Frost and a sister, Patricia M. Porter.
She is survived by her children, William A. and his wife, Ruthann Frost of Amesbury, and Barbara E. and her husband, Scott Gleason of Atkinson, N.H.; grandchildren, Leanne Perron and husband, Phil of Hudson, N.H., Daniel Frost of Amesbury, Mass., Rachel French and husband Tom of Henniker, N.H., Sarah Littlefield and husband, Ryan of Saco, Maine, Shawn Gleason and wife, Katherine of Snowmass, Colo.; great-grandchildren, Lucas and Madelynne Perron, Maeve and Scarlett Gleason, and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a period visitation from 3 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 1, at the H.L Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Her funeral Service will take place immediately following the visitation at 4:15 p.m. at the funeral home.
