ROWLEY — Cheryl E. (Dunn) Ricker, 62, of Rowley, passed away Monday, June 2, at the Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport. She was the wife of Roy A. Ricker of Rowley.

Cheryl was born April 6, 1952 in Hartford, Conn. to her late parents, Richard T. and Pauline (Claycomb) Dunn.

As an Army brat, she traveled with her family in her younger years. She was a graduate of Haverhill High School. She had two children in the military and was very proud of them.

Her working career encompassed several positions. She worked at the Pine Grove School in Rowley as a cook for nine years and served as a dispatcher for both Rowley and Newbury police Departments.

She was a loving mother and a devoted wife. Cheryl loved spending time in the hay field, and she enjoyed NASCAR Races, traveling to Daytona and Loudin.

In addition to her husband Roy, she is survived by her mother-in-law, Betty Ricker of Rowley; two children, son, Roy Ricker, Jr. and his finacee, Sara Baxter of Rowley; daughte,r Barbara Ricker and her husband, Richard Surpitski of Kingston, N.H. She leaves two sisters, Maureen Parsons of Hampstead, N.H., and Phyliss Reed of Haverhill; sisters-in-law, Nancy and her husband, Tom Reed of Rowley and Debbie Ricker of Danvers. She also leaves two grandchildren, Miss Fiona April Ricker and Ryan Tyler Schrader; nieces and nephews, Sean Parsons, Scott Parsons, Michelle Savino, Bill Cashman, Mike Dunn and Bill Basler. She was predeceased by her brother, Richard Dunn, Jr.

ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 8, at 2 p.m. in the F.S. Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 14 Independent St., Rowley. Burial will follow in the Main Street Cemetery, Rowley.
