South Berwick, ME — Melissa Personeni, 54, of Meadow Lane, passed away suddenly on Friday June 20, 2014, at her home, after battling multiple medical issues over the last 10 years.
Melissa was born May 15, 1960, in Amesbury, Mass., and was the daughter of Eugene Joubert and Mary Ann (Henry) McKenney. She was a graduate of Amesbury High, Class of 1978.
Her greatest joy and love in life was being a mother to her two children, Sadie and Jake.
Missy had an artistic talent and passion for jewelry making, drawing and painting. She had a style and flair that will be greatly missed.
She was predeceased by her father, Eugene Joubert.
She is survived by her husband James “Jim” Personeni Jr. of South Berwick; a daughter, Sarah “Sadie” Personeni of South Berwick; a son Jacob “Jake” Personeni of South Berwick; her mother, Mary Ann McKenney of Rochester, N.H.; and a brother, David Joubert of Newbury, Mass.
Missy is also survived by three sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews, who love her dearly and will miss her greatly.
ARRANGEMENTS: In honor of her wishes, Missy will be cremated, and then set free in the ocean in a private ceremony by her family.
