Vera May (Chase) Dow

Milton, VT — Vera May (Chase) Dow, past president of the Rebekah Assembly, I.O.O.F. 1974 State of Massachusetts and member of United Rebekah Lodge #13, passed away on February 4, 2014, at the home of her daughter-in-law, Pamela Dow of Milton, Vermont.

Born in Newburyport, July 24, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George P. Chase. Surviving her are two daughters, Donna Ford and her husband, Roger Ford, of Portsmouth, NH and Brenda Quartiers and her husband, Joseph, of Fort Edwards, NY; daughter-in-law, Pamela Dow of Milton, VT; her sister, Pearl Ladd of Newbury; her lifelong friend, Jean Hobart; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren and several generations of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, George Dow and her husband, Homer Dow.
