Salisbury, MA — Yvonne Mansourian passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning at Country Center for Health and Rehab in Newburyport. Born in Canada, she was the daughter of the late Edoured and Eugenie (Fortin) Vaillancourt. She was the wife of the late Richard Mansourian who passed away in 1990.
She was a longtime Salisbury resident and attended Star of the Sea Church. She loved crocheting and word search puzzles. Yvonne loved spending time with her family, especially her Sunday car rides with her son, Leo, to the country to look at horses. She also loved her "grand puppy" Mandy. She will be sadly missed by all her family.
Yvonne leaves behind her four loving children, son, Richard Mansourian and wife, Regina, of Amesbury; her daughter, Rose Fournier and husband, Philip, of Amesbury; her son, Leo Mansourian of Salisbury; and her daughter, Dorothy Moschetto and husband, Anthony, of Salisbury whom she lived with for the past 37 years. She also leaves two brothers, Gerald Vaillancourt and wife, Ruth, of California and Lionel Vaillancourt and wife, Anita, of Amesbury; 7 grandchildren, Donna Cornoni, Lisa Worden, Jeffrey, Brian, Philip, and Joe Fournier, and Melissa Neale; 10 great-grandchildren, Bailey and Bryn Fournier, Nick and Nathan Cornoni, Becky, Rachael, and Jason Worden, Aiden and Avery Neale, and Laurent Fournier. She was the sister of the late Dorothy Vine and Annette Levesque.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral Mass for Yvonne will be celebrated on Monday, July 1 at 10 a.m. in the Star of the Sea Church on Beach Road in Salisbury. Burial will follow in the Long Hill Cemetery in Salisbury. Calling hours will precede the Mass from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the E.V. Jutras & Sons Funeral Home, 118 Friend St., in Amesbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Star of the Sea Renovation Fund, 9 Sparhawh St., Amesbury, MA 01913.
