Luannah H. Damico, 81


Salisbury — Luannah H. Damico, died Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at her home after a long illness.

She was born in Haverhill, Mass., September 16, 1932, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Edith (Russell) Frascone.

Luannah was raised in Newburyport and had worked as a clam shucker for a number of local seafood companies over the years. She especially enjoyed traveling with her husband of over 30 years, Melvin P. Damico, in his profession as an over-the-road truck driver. She was an outstanding cook and loved hosting feasts for all occasions at her home for her friends and family. Schooled in baking, Luannah was a talented pastry cook and was known for making the most beautiful and delicious cakes. Most of all, Luannah was a good wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend and she will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her husband, Melvin of Salisbury, family members include her daughter, Anne Perkins and her husband, Harry, of Seabrook; her stepson, Michael Damico of Boston; her brother, Charles Frascone and his wife, Lisa, of Seabrook; her sisters, Donna Perkins of Salisbury and Brenda Frascone of Newburyport; her granddaughter, Lori Perkins and her great-grandchildren, Kelsey Lennox and twins, Vanity and Shannon Blake; and her nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Lawrence Frascone and her sister, Barbara Wilson.

ARRANGEMENTS: Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 23, 2013, in the Hillside Cemetery, Route 1, Seabrook, N.H. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
