F. Ann Marshall, 75


Newburyport, MA — F. Ann (Currier) Marshall died April 13, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Newburyport on June 9, 1937, she was the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Twomey) Currier. Ann spent most all of her life in Newburyport, graduating from Newburyport High School in 1956, and marrying fellow Newburyport native, Albert E. Marshall, who passed away in 1992.

Ann is survived by her two sons, Albert and his wife, Rebekah Marshall, of Amesbury, and John Marshall, of Haverhill. She is also survived by her four daughters, Mary Sanford and her husband, Hoban, of Merrimac, Donna Gordon and her husband, Kevin, of Brattleboro, Vt., Margaret Dooling and her husband, Leo, of Hampton Falls, N.H., and Colleen Tolman and her husband, Kenneth, of Newburyport.

Ann also leaves behind nine grandchildren: Lewanna, Seth, Corey, Nicole, Erik, Sarah, Blake, Lydiah, and Sylvia, as well as, four great-grandchildren, Siarra, Jordan, Jagger, and Audrianna. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late, Mary, Bernice, George, Leonard, and Carlton Currier, as well as Margaret (Currier) Putnam.

The family would like to thank the staff at Oceanside in Hampton, N.H., especially the Francoeur Unit for their unconditional kindness, love and exceptional care given to Ann for the past 18 months.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Wednesday, April 17, at 10:30 a.m. in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Green Street, Newburyport. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Newburyport. Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m., in the Twomey-LeBlanc and Conte Funeral Home, 193 High St., Newburyport.
