Amesbury, MA — David L. Teel, 68, of Amesbury, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, August 3, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Carol A. (Phillips) Teel.
Born in Dayton, Ohio, October 4, 1944, he was the son of Nancy (Covault) Teel of Norco, Calif., and the late Larry Teel. He was a graduate of Walter Johnson High School in Bethesda, Md.
Dave enjoyed his career as a salesman in the motorcycle industry. He never missed an opportunity to share his passion and adventures of riding the back roads of New England with reckless abandon.
Dave is survived by his wife of 43 years, Carol of Amesbury; his mother, Nancy Teel of Norco, Calif.; his two sons, Geoffrey D. of Lake Tahoe, Calif., and Kevin L. of Cambridge; his sister, Pamela Duque of Norco; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Charles Phillips and wife, Linda, of Brookline, Robert Phillips and wife, Joan, of Framingham, William Phillips and wife, Sharon, of Plum Island, Susan Phillips of Cape Canaveral, Fla., Marianne Donnelly and husband, Edward, of Plum Island; along with many nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be held in the Highland Street Chapel of Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, on Friday, August 9, from 4 to 7 p.m., immediately followed by a service of remembrance at 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
