Having been a resident of Amesbury for nearly 20 years, Stephen and his family settled in an old Victorian home, and thanks to his love of woodworking, took on the arduous, yet rewarding, task of refurbishing the home one room at a time.
In addition to his wife and his mother, Stephen is survived by two sons, Andrew P. Plante and wife, Rafelina, and Jonathan Plante; his daughter, Meredith Plante, all of Amesbury; three brothers, Lawrence E. Plant and wife, Carolyn, of Rockland, Edward Plant and wife, Susan, of Norton, and Richard Plant and wife, Jeanne, of Apex, N.C.; his sister, Carolyn Burnham and husband, Philip, of Mansfield; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He will be sadly missed by them all.
