Richard A.Yelle, of Lafayette Rd. passed away peacefully Tuesday March 20 at his home. He was the husband of Lauri (Lavoie) Yelle. Born in Amesbury, Ma. on Nov. 2, 1949, he was the son of Pauline (Roy) Yelle and the late Al Yelle.
He grew up and attended schools in Amesbury and following high school, went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Rick had such a deep passion for his music. He was known as the "master of the keyboard" and has traveled all over the country with his family while following his dreams. He shared the stage with many and made a profound and lasting impression with his amazing talent on the keyboard. He truly loved the beach and was an extremely talented jeweler for many years. He looked forward to his Sundays at home, watching the Patriots, and jamming on his keyboard. Rick was the most kindhearted man with an amazing and positive outlook on life. He had such a great sense of humor and he will be sadly missed by many.
Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by three daughters, Carmen Yelle of Alabama, and Tiffany and Jasmine Yelle both of Portsmouth, NH., three brothers, Michael Yelle of Amesbury, William Yelle of Exeter, NH., and Derek Yelle of Beverly, Ma., two sisters, Diane Riley of Amesbury and Linda Vincent of Fitzwilliam, NH., and his three grand pups Koda, Remy, and Fenway. He will also be remembered by countless family and friends who were blessed to know him.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services for Rick will be held on Wednesday March 28 at 11:00 am at the E.V. Jutras & Sons Funeral Home 118 Friend St. in Amesbury. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday March 27 from 4-7 pm.
