CT — Charlotte (Boulay) Sonier passed away on June 28, 2013, in Bloomfield Conn. She was born May 31, 1946, to Raymond and Charlotte (Russell) Boulay Sr. in Newbury, Mass. Charlotte grew up on Plum Island and graduated from Newburyport High. Following graduation, she married Ronald Sonier and they had one daughter, Alice. They lived in Newburyport until several years ago, moving to Salem, N.H. She worked for many years in the housekeeping department of several nursing homes. In June of 2012, she moved to Windsor, Conn., residing with niece, Lana, and Tom Harrington.
Charlotte was predeceased by her parents, husband and daughter, Alice Scanlon. She is survived by her brothers, Raymond and wife, Peg, of Homosassa, Fla., Norman and partner, Martin, of Ogunquit, Maine; granddaughters, Megan and Ashley of Jay, Maine; two aunts, Alice Boulay of Fitchburg and Marcia Roberge of Newburyport; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 13, at 11:30 a.m. in the Peoples United Methodist Church, 68 Purchase St., Newburyport.
