Exeter, NH — Linda Herman, 59, of Exeter, passed away in her home on January 12, 2014, with loved ones by her side.
She was born in Amesbury, Mass., on September 9, 1954, and was the daughter Theresa (Charest) Herman of Amesbury, Mass., and the late William Herman.
Linda was a graduate of Amesbury High School and went on to get her cosmetologist license from the State of New Hampshire. She worked for Phillips Exeter Academy in the Music Building. She loved her job and the people she worked with, and will be remembered for her warmth, humor and love of animals.
Family members include her longtime partner and caregiver, Kevin Gilmore of Exeter; her sons, Travis Bastien and fiancée, Kelly Stoker of Kansas, and Kerry Bastein of Greenland; her brother, Bill Herman Jr. and his partner, Heidi Merrill of Amesbury; her sister, Robin LeBlanc and her partner, Joseph Dolfe of Kensington; several aunts and uncles; and nieces and nephews.
She would like to remember lifelong friends, Destiny (Porkorny) Brighman, David Pokorny, Doreen Pokorny, the Barnett Family, and Pam Genna and Marleen Porter. She would like to thank Kevin’s family for all their love and support.
