Amesbury and Center Ossipee, N.H. — Jacqueline A. (Haggerty) Pelletier, 77, of Amesbury and Center Ossipee, N.H., died Friday, February 15, 2013, at her daughter's home in Amesbury with her loving and devoted family at her side.
The daughter of the late John and Germaine (Marquis) Haggerty Sr., and step-daughter of the late Jeanette (Potvin) Haggerty, Jacqueline was born in Salem, on October 29, 1935. She was educated in Catholic schools in Salem. She was a certified nurse's aide, and was employed in several nursing homes in Amesbury. She was a homemaker most of her life. She also was employed at Tech-Ceram in Amesbury, from where she retired. While residing in Amesbury, she attended the former Sacred Heart Church. She was a member of "Club" with her lady friends in Amesbury for many years. She was an accomplished seamstress and knitter, and enjoyed her gardening. She resided in Amesbury until her retirement, when she moved to Center Ossipee, N.H.
Jacqueline is survived by her husband of 58 years, Alphonse A. Pelletier of Amesbury and Center Ossipee; her children, Kathi L. Pelletier-Gannett and her husband, Christian, of Amesbury; Michael D. Pelletier and his wife, Bonnie, of Abell, Md.; Lori A. Creamer and her husband, Patrick, of Amesbury; and David A. Pelletier and his wife, Taciana, of Center Ossipee, N.H. She was predeceased by her first-born daughter, Jacqueline Pelletier. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ethan and Graham Gannett, Jennifer Slabaugh, Tammy Wisdom, Amy Loiselle, Rachel Pare and Abigail Pare; great-grandchildren, Michael Hobbs, Olivia Wisdom, William, Bryce and Kendall Slabaugh; one brother, John Haggerty Jr. of Salisbury; a sister, Jean Whitney of Newburyport; and many nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, February 19, at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Parish, Amesbury. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Amesbury. Relatives and friends may call Monday, February 18, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the E. V. Jutras & Sons Funeral Home, 118 Friend Street, Amesbury.
