Seabrook, N.H. — Louis A. “Laddie” Mills, Jr., 71, of Seabrook, died Saturday, May 4, 2013.
He was born in Newburyport, Mass., June 28, 1941, son of the late Louis A. and Eldora (Eaton) Mills.
Mr. Mills was raised in Seabrook and resided there his whole life. He was employed for many years at Q & A Technologies in Hampton, retiring in 2006 and then continued working there part time.
His family remarked that he was too great of a man to be described. He was a remarkable pool player, Nine Ball champion and named sportsman of the year in 2012. He was also an avid lobster fisherman and absolutely loved the ocean.
He shared 54 years of marriage with his wife, Judith M. (Hayes) Mills of Seabrook.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Richard Mills and his wife, Jessica of Epping; his daughter, Susan Bishop and her husband, Fred of Salisbury, Mass.; five grandchildren, Ryan and Kaylie Bishop, Trisha, Simeon and Naomi Mills; two sisters, Luellyn Valtin of Milford, N.Y., and Linda Fowler of Exeter.
He was predeceased by his son Louis A. Mills, III in 1987.
ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial gathering will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Thursday, May 9, 2013, at the Rand Memorial Church, Seabrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
