Brad later worked as the attendance officer for Amesbury Public Schools, which led to increasing responsibility and an ever-growing collection of job titles. When he left the school system due to illness, he was the director of operations, encompassing nearly everything but curriculum.
To Brad, family was his most important job. He spent all of his free time attending his daughters dance recitals, cheering her on at field hockey games, coaching his son in baseball and soccer, and the numerous other activities in which his family was involved. He truly believed in the Rotary motto of "Service above Self", and felt it was an honor and a privilege to work and serve in the community in which he lived.
In addition to his immediate family, as well as his Rotary, School, and Community families, Brad leaves his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Rahmberg; sisters-in-law, Diane Putnam, Jean Jones and husband Jon, Beth Walsh and husband, James; brothers-in-law, Rick Rahmberg and wife, Marie, Ray Rahmberg and wife, Linda, Joe Rahmberg and wife, Cindy, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
