Newburyport — Daniel S. Lynch, 102, lifelong resident of Newburyport, Mass., died on March 29, 2014, in Exeter, N.H. He was the son of the late Patrick and Hannah (Healey) Lynch. He attended St. Margaret’s School, Immaculate Conception School, Newburyport High School, and Burdett College. He was a devoted member of the Immaculate Conception Parish and a Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council #231.
He leaves his daughter, Jane Lynch of New Hampshire; and his son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Maryanne Lynch of New York. He also leaves two granddaughters, Jennifer and Stephanie; and two great-grandsons; many nieces and nephews, especially Anna, Joan, Donna, Maureen, and Michael. He was predeceased by his wife of nearly 66 years, Margaret D. Lynch; his sister Ellen T. Bashaw; and his brothers, Patrick, John, Freeman and Henry; and his lifelong friend, Albert E. Corey.
