Thomas W. Clay, 64

Newburyport and Boca Raton, FL — Thomas William Clay passed away on November 20, 2013, at the VA Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Fla., he was 64 years old.

Born and raised in Beverly, he was the son of the late Henry and Margaret Clay. A veteran of the Vietnam War, Tom served proudly with the United States Marine Corps.

Tom was an avid golfer, known as "The Pro" to his Sunday morning golf group. He also enjoyed coaching his children in youth sports, fishing on Plum Island and going to the race track.

He is survived by his children, Amanda, Jim, Dave, and Megan; and will be sadly missed by his siblings, Diane, John and Betsy. He was predeceased by his sister Kathy.

ARRANGEMENTS: A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 16, at 11 a.m., at Old Hill Cemetery, intersection of Pond and Auburn streets, Newburyport.
