BYFIELD — Constance V. (Hyslop) McDougall, 86, a Byfield resident since 1963 and formerly of Salem and Fall River, passed away at the Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport on Wednesday, December 26, 2012. She was the wife of Albert D. McDougall of Byfield.
Constance was born July 23, 1926, in Fall River to her parents, Thomas and Annie (Dillon) Hyslop.
She worked as a Lab Technician at Salem Hospital for many years and later became employed at Gould-Shawmut in Newburyport.
Constance enjoyed antiquing and had her own table at the Rowley Flea Market. She also enjoyed bird watching and was an avid bingo player.
In addition to her husband Albert, she is survived by her sons and their spouses, David J. and his wife Albertina McDougall of Peabody and Thomas D. and his wife Laurie McDougall of Round Hill, VA; also four grandchildren, David McDougall, Jr., Alexandra McDougall, Andrew McDougall and James McDougall. She was predeceased by two sisters, Alice Hyslop and Jeanne Laberee.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be held Saturday morning, December 29, 2012, at 11:00AM in the F.S. Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 14 Independent Street, Rowley. There will be no calling hours. Burial will follow in the South Byfield Cemetery, Jackman Street, Georgetown.
