Salisbury, MA — Constance Jane (Robinson) Coleman, 63, of Salisbury, passed away peacefully Friday morning, July 19, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Connie was an occupational therapist whose kind manner and dedication gave great comfort to those she served. She was happiest spending time at the beach and mountains with her sons and grandkids. Though born and raised in the Midwest, she fell in love with the North Shore of Massachusetts, living in Ipswich, Newburyport and Salisbury.
Connie attended School of Floral design in Boston and worked at area florists before attending college for Occupational Therapy. She worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and area facilities. Even while battling disease herself, she brought relief and solace to those she called “friends,” not clients. Connie was part of a large group of family and friends, and while she will be missed, her legacy is love.
Connie leaves her three sons and their spouses, Brett and Kim Coleman of Denmark, Maine, Eammon and Cindi Coleman of Lawrence, and Jeff Cayman and family of Boone, Iowa; three grandsons, Seamus, Myles and Dev and a granddaughter, Shirley. Connie was a member of a large extended family which includes the Colelman’s, Weathers’, Gorman’s, Aylward’s and Mcniff’s, who always considered her a cherished part of the fabric of their lives. Connie would think we were remiss if we did not mention her dear friends, Sheryl and Brandi of Iowa, Joyce of Newburyport, Wanda of Brookline, Cheryl of Maine, and Del of Amesbury. She cherished their friendship.
ARRANGEMENTS: Services in Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury.
