Georgetown — Aime Joseph Blouin Jr., 84, of Georgetown, Mass., died on September 29, 2013, at the St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Brighton, surrounded by his family.
Aime was born August 6, 1929, in Haverhill, Mass., to the late Aime J. Blouin and Helen (Pillsbury) Blouin.
He was a graduate from the Perley High School in Georgetown. He also served as a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army, and then, as a Massachusetts State Police Sergeant, from January 6, 1956 to retirement in 1980. He was a proud member of the Georgetown V.F.W. For many years he worked for the Georgetown Housing Authority.
Aime is survived by and will be greatly missed by his wife, Janis (Baker) Blouin; his son, Edward H. Blouin and his wife, Rosemary (Low) Blouin, and their two sons, Jaime and Henry. Aime always put his family and friends first. With his wife, Aime, was an avid antiques dealer and collector.
