Salisbury, MA — Pauline Theresa (Lucier) Ackerman, age 84, longtime Salisbury resident, died at her home in Salisbury early Monday morning, with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Donald N. Ackerman.
Born in Amesbury, March 29, 1929, she was the daughter of the late William and Adrienne (Savoie) Lucier and a graduate of Amesbury High School.
A devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she loved spending time with family. As a talented artisan, Pauline crafted many one-of-a-kind items that became family heirlooms. She also loved sewing, baking, and tending to her yard — passions she generously shared with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her survivors include her two sons, Bruce Ackerman and wife Sheryl, and Dean Ackerman and wife Denise, all of Salisbury; her three grandchildren, Wayne, Donald and Lynne, who were her true joy; her eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Knox of Amesbury and Alice Ryerson of Merrimac; along with several generations of nieces and nephews and dear friends. She was predeceased by a son, Paul, and a grandson, Paul. She will be missed them by all.
