East Dennis, MA — Formerly of Medford and Nashua, N.H., died peacefully in his home on the afternoon of October 18, 2013, in the arms of his beloved wife Peggy, surrounded by all four of his children.
Ron was born in Medford, Mass., on May 18, 1934, son of the late Anne (McLean) Creamer, and of the late William Edgar Creamer. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Margaret Mary (McIntosh) Creamer; two daughters, Susan H. Creamer of Newburyport and Nancy M. (Harrison/Creamer) Forristall of Newbury; two sons Ronald A Creamer Jr. of Belmont and Scott D. Creamer of Kingston; five grandchildren, James Ferguson of Newbury, Samantha, Elizabeth and Shannon Creamer of Duxbury, and Lea Creamer of Belmont; and all three of his siblings, William E. Creamer of Blairsville, Ga., Carolyn O’Connor of Gloucester, and Constance Bechard of Dennis.
Ron graduated from Medford High School, 1952, where he lettered in varsity football. He studied engineering at both the University of New Hampshire and Boston University. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War, and enjoyed a long and successful career as a systems engineer for the Defense Department at both Hanscom AFB and Mitre Corporation. He later left to found and run CCN, a networking company in Hollis, NH, before retiring to his cherished Cape Cod. Among Ron’s happiest moments was time spent on the water with his wife, Peggy.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 25, at Our Lady of The Cape church, Stony Brook Road, Brewster, MA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org).
