Pascoag, RI — William L. “Bill” Ralston, 52, of Pascoag, RI, was taken into the Lord’s hands on Nov. 1, 2013, while surrounded by his loved ones and family at RI Hospital.
He was the fiancé to Patricia Gonyea, with whom he lived.
He was born in Carpentersville, IL, a son of Leota C. (Shockley) Ralston and the late Robert H. Ralston.
Bill worked for Precision Towing in Johnston, RI. He was a resident of Burrillville for 4 ½ years, previously living in Salisbury, MA, where he lived most of his life. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps serving during peacetime, and was a member of the Freemasons of St. Mark’s Lodge, East Kingston, NH, and also was a member of the National Association of Rocketry; he enjoyed NASCAR, mechanics, baseball, and the outdoors.
He is survived by his children, Sally Cox of Niles, MI, Jennifer Lonero of CA, Rebecca Ralston, William Ralston, II, and Alexandra and Mollie Ralston, all of Salisbury, MA, mother, Leota Corinne Straugh of NY, siblings, Robert H. & Jean Ralston of MI, Reva C. Lee of AR, Kathryn Ralston of FL, John D. & Mary Ralston of MI, and Angela M. & Justin Marmet of NY. He is also survived by stepchildren, Thomas Jr. and Ashley Gonea, Daniel, and Jennifer Gonyea, and Virginia Dugas all of RI, grandsons, Michael Bernier Jr. and Alexander Riccitelli-Gonyea, his paternal grandmother Mae Rouse of Lafayette, ID, and his former wife Tabitha Ralston of Salisbury, MA.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Lee Ralston, and his father, Robert H. Ralston.
