Dereck J. Irvin, 46

St. Petersburg, FL — Dereck J. Irvin, 46, of St. Petersburg, Florida, formerly of Gloucester and Salisbury, Massachusetts, passed away at St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Peteresburg on October 18, 2012, after a brief illness.

He is survived by his father, Edward L. “Ted” Irvin of Salisbury; two brothers, Richard F. of Seabrook, NH and Bret J. of Salisbury; a sister, Shawna M. (Allen) Ducharme of Sanford, ME, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Dereck was predeceased by his mother, Bernadette R. (Cowart) McKay.

ARRANGEMENTS: Services will be private. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Seabrook, NH. Memorial donations in his memory may be made to Lions District 33 N Sight and Hearing Foundation, Inc., (Lions 33N S&H Fund) and mailed to either Roberta Clements, President, 2 Adelman Road, Wilmington, MA 01887 or Ted Irvin, Treasurer, 24 Bayberry Lane, Salisbury, MA 01952-1420. Arrangements are by Paul C. Rogers & Sons Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury.
