Seabrook, N.H. — Kathleen M. Souther, 60, of Seabrook, died Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Exeter on Hampton Care and Rehabilitation Center after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Exeter, September 26, 1952, daughter of the late Norman A. and Mary R. (Violette) Souther.
Kathleen attended Seabrook schools and Winnacunnet High School. She was employed at the former Welpro Shoe Company, worked at various clam houses in the area shucking clams and had also worked as a home health aide.
She enjoyed spending time at the Raymond E. Walton American Legion Post and playing cards.
She leaves her daughter, Tia Knowles and her husband Asa IV; three grandchildren, Ryan and Nathan Johnson and Asa Knowles V; four brothers, Norman Souther Jr. and his wife Deborah, Frank Souther and his companion Linda, and Dwight Souther and his wife Marcee, all of Seabrook; Paul Souther and his wife Kim of Fremont; two sisters, Valerie Eaton and Rosemary Fowler and her husband Jesse, all of Seabrook; her goddaughter and caregiver, Jodi Perkins; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Souther.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, October 26, at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton.
